"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and warm when we arrived, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern. At first, we were a little nervous because the road seemed quite tricky due to the heavy snow and the buildings looked quite rustic from the outside, but everything went smoothly. The breakfast was lovely as well."

"Conveniently located. Acceptable price and breakfast. We did not like that there is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor using the stairs. I do have to recognize that the girl who checked us in offered to help, but we found that really awkward, that should not be part of her job description. This used to be a college dorm, so expect small rooms and a very small shower, not made for a big person. Would we stay here again? Hmm, that is a hard "maybe"."

"The location, location, location! Hotel is situated across the bay from Akureyri, 5km easy drive over the bridge. From the room or walk out to the patio, there is a magnificent view at the fiord, Akureyri with the mountains behind, view at river valley... Hotel is very nicely designed. Free parking. Room was super clean, breakfast included for the good begining of the day. Service excellent. Would stay again, highly recommend."

"This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!"
