The hotel room was large - much larger than rooms in any comparably priced hotel in Iceland and in much of Europe. The facility and the rooms are updated, clean, and functional. "While there was no air conditioning and it was hot, each room had a fan. Worked great! The bed and bedding was comfy. The breakfast was included and fabulous - one of the best we had in iceland. They refilled everything constantly. So many choices. The location is perfect. It was not noisy which surprised us. They have a great bar with a happy hour and indoor or outdoor seating. Definitely would recommend."

"I basically had a one bedroom. The house and place itself is nice. I didn't explore much of the house, but it was well decorated and quite nice to look at. My roomt was your typical bedroom with a small bathroom (enough room where it works). There was one of those heaters that was useful for drying your clothes. A plus when travelling through Iceland. I had a bike with me and the staff was helpful in finding a safe spot to lock it up. You're in a good spot, close to the downtown shopping and...

"Didn’t see any staff. The room was clean enough but very basic. The roof slopes too steeply on one side, making it impossible for even a short person like me to stand up and use that half of the room. Good location"
