"The poor property condition shows a total lack of maintenance, The curtain rod was falling off the wall, there were no clothes hangers in the closet, there was no tv remote to be found, and the towels were rougher than coarse sandpaper. The neighborhood is very sketchy, filled with people who looked vagrants, drug addicts and prostitutes. The free breakfast was so bad that you would have had to pay me to eat it. I expected a great deal more for the $120/night rate. I’ve stayed at much better...

"It's one of those places where the pictures look much better than reality. Most of the amenities are quite old, and in my opinion, the bathroom needs renovation. The floor near the toilet also wasn't clean. What bothered me most was the strong smell of cigarettes, even though there was a sign indicating it was a non-smoking room. It's not terrible for a short stay if you're on a low budget. Breakfast was a joke - just a couple of types of granola bars, juice, and coffee machines."

"The lobby smelled wonderful. The staff, especially Nathaniel, were wonderful. Bed was comfortable. Walking from parking across the street was a bit strange, but we changed to the uncovered lot in the back after the staff suggested the option."

"Everything was lovely but HEADS UP - the hotel charges $7 to park in their regular parking lot, which has no gate to go through or anything. I was wondering how they knew to bill me, since I had never given them a license plate number. The nice man at the desk said that they simply charge everyone - in other words, a company which is nickel and dime-ing you. They do not mention it AT ALL when you check in but send you a separate bill for it. Just be aware."

"we were very dissapointed that the pool was under construction and therefore closed. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool as we were traveling with kids and they enjoy swimming. I wish we wouldve known about it before and therefore am writing it in the review so others will know to call before to ask. Otherwise the rooms were clean and updated."
