"“Water view” is misleading - I assumed we were in the back overlooking the sound. No. We saw the parking lot, the 4 lane road, then a sliver of water. The blinds in our room do not cover the entire window edge to edge. Coffee maker- no cups. No soap in the dispenser at the sink."

"Front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and accessible. Room was clean. The only thing that could have been better for us personally is the curtain situation. When it was time for bed the room didn't get very dark at all because of the lights coming through from the outside parking lot, etc.. this could easily be fixed if needed/wanted. Other than that it was a cute little place."

"The staff were super friendly! The room was very clean but did have a moldy smell. They had wine tasting with beer everyday at 5pm and cookies at 8pm. The breakfast was great ( as far as free breakfasts go). They used fresh eggs not powdered! Would recommend the hotel! The pool was also nice and was cleaned daily."

"We enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back but in one of the larger rooms. We didn’t have a beach view but that was ok. We were close to the beach. Only problem we had was that there was a broken part in the laminate flooring and it was sinking in at the bathroom door. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Breakfast was decent. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. I was surprised there was no blow dryer. Entrance to beach was nice. Was disappointed in the pool it was very small luckily when I decided to go there was just one other person. Overall, accommodating and would stay again."

"Our stay at Seahorse Inn was super comfortable! It was literally across the street from the beach. Free onsite parking was very convenient. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to OBX."

"My wife and I stayed for 3 days during the first week of September '26. It was clean and comfortable and, as advertised, it is right on the beach. I had set up my first shipwreck dive with Roanoke Island Dive Shop, which was a beach dive about 9 miles down the road. While I was doing that, wifey just strolled out of our cottage and hit the beach for a while. Very convenient location to watch the sunrise over the ocean. I would stay there again. My only complaint is that our cottage didn't have any curtains. The property stays lit up at night and the blinds over the windows were not enough to block out that light."
