"Perfect location between nature, the beach, and Patong I really enjoyed staying at Avista Hideaway. The location was one of the best parts of the hotel. It feels peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, but Patong Beach, restaurants, and nightlife are still nearby. I especially loved being able to hike from the hotel area toward Freedom Beach. During the day, I could enjoy a beautiful, quieter beach and nature, and at night I could easily go into Patong. Phuket was also a great base for island-hopping trips, so there was always something different to do. The location gave me the perfect balance: relaxing and secluded without feeling too far away from everything. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great room and bath, I particularly loved the shower! Beautiful room floors and wonderful bed and bedding. Great restaurant and wonderful food to accommodate my tastes and some easy Thai dishes that were just lovely. Naturally the staff was amazing! All of them were so friendly and remembered everything about me and my activities, room number and what I liked to eat for breakfast. It was so lovely to see their faces every morning for breakfast. Even the groundskeepers and other non hospitality staff were extremely friendly and kind. The pool was so cool! I was traveling with my friend’s family and the kids loved the dive platform and slide. I liked the slide very much myself. It was just beautiful and so inviting and refreshing around the pool area but I didn’t really partake in the bar but my friend’s family drank and ate and it looked delicious. Now for the serious part that I feel needs mentioning is the steep switchback paths leading to the upper rooms and the stairs leading down to the main resort areas. Mostly a lack of proper description in the listing on the Expedia app/web site. Also for a person or persons like me with physical mobility issues, the rooms on the upper levels are just dangerous to traverse and having had a better description of the property I would have made sure to book a room closer to elevators. The stairs and bridge to the building with the elevator were to steep and to dark at night. Loved the place and will be back!"

"5 star hotel for staff friendliness. They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From reception through to breakfast staff, amazing service. Can't speak highly enough about them. Breakfast is also 5 star. Absolutely amazing variety. Freshly squeezed juice everyday was a winner for us. Pool is ok. They have 3 pools running alongside each other, but not joined. They are not very big either, a little bit narrow but long. Rooms are a little bit dated. Clean enough but older. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"Great hotel for family traveling with kids. We should’ve splurged for the swim in suites. The suites was spacious for family of 4. Amenities included flip flops, swim towels. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options for kids and adults. Adult only pool is 12+ and faces the beach. The beach was spectacular, water was warm, clean and clear"
