"This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others."

"I had a terrible stay. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and the bed and pillow was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. Also when I came down for coffee at 8:50am, the coffee container was empty and never refilled after I even told the front desk."

"Stay was comfortable, only complaint is that housekeeping wouldn’t come to clean until later in day. One day I we were out from 9am-4:30pm and housekeeping had just gotten to the room. Another day was a similar experience where we were gone from 10am-2pm and no housekeeping. Also had to request bedding change"

Upon arrival there was some confusion on the amount owed for the extra day because we used a 3rd party to book the other nights. Following a call from the front desk to report to the front desk after check-in, the issue was resolved. The room was clean. We did not use any of the amenities. Plenty of parking. "This was a terrible experience from the moment I walked in. As I was trying to check in another guest was the the reception desk requesting a new room because her room smelled like "Death". The hotel clerk said I was registered for 2 rooms, which I was not. She then said "well I will charge you for both rooms then you can dispute with your credit cad company" I asked 4 times to speak with the manager. He never came to speak with me. "The rooms are clean, but when I walked in the room had a funky smell. Thankfully the AC worked and circulated most of it out. The sink also had sewer gas smell coming out of it, which never went away. Overall not a good place to rest your head be gone."

The room had an odor, the plugs to charge our phones didn't work, we had to flip the switch several times to get the light on, water pressure wasn't strong and mattresses were not comfortable."
