"Wir waren zu zweit für zwei Nächte als Ausgangspunkt für die Safari in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. Die Dachterrasse ist ganz toll und auch das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr schön mit einem tollen Blick auf das Fort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Und arrangierte für uns einen weiter Transport nach Jod pur. Auch konnten wir während unserer Safari das Gepäck kostenlos deponieren. Es habe ganz toll"

"L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano. Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata. Anche la pulizia è ai livelli europei, una rarità in India. Unica pecca la stradina per arrivarci ma siamo in India e le strade sono queste. "

"It was simply an A+ experience. From the time we checked in to the time we checked-out of the hotel. The hotel staff was courteous and prompt. Cleanliness of the property is outstanding. We were there for Christmas eve and so there were a lot of enjoyable activities planned for the guests. Even the royal family (who lives in the private parts of the property) joined in the festivities. We rented the heritage rooms where we got the feel of living as royals in a haveli. "The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!"

"we had a great stay at Gulab Haweli. Location matches the pictures and at a very good location for a great view of the Jaisalmer fort. Food ( thali) for dinner was excellent (flavor, quality, hospitality). Breakfast is by order (not buffet) hence can be a bit slow during peak hrs. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Laundry service is at great price ( by kilos)..makes a difference when you are travelling city to city."

"This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. The pool was refreshing and a most welcome pleasure. Views of the huge fort looming above, while we are in the restaurant, were like something from a movie. The boys in the upstairs...
