"Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. "This was a good choice for a late night arrival before we went to our resort. So close to the bay and farmers market!!"

"Clean but a bit outdated. The housekeeping staff is incredible!! The Luau was fantastic! The common areas of the property were clean and maintained. Our room was pretty outdated and mediocre. I wish there was a bit more lighting or lighting on the balconies at the least. Another big downer is the lack of coffee. I wish they offered free coffee or a coffee bar similar to most hotels. The coffee in the room is not very great but it is what it is. Overall a good place to stay! The lagoon is very beautiful and fun. It did suck a bit when the surf was high and we couldn’t use it for most of our stay but we can’t tell nature what to do! I’m glad the staff valued safety!"

"I’ve stayed here twice and this hotel is really special! The downtown shopping and restaurant area, is literally right there…you can walk to everything from this hotel. The property itself, is lovely — with lots shops, an ABC store, coffee shop, restaurant, as well as pool, bar and small beach. For me, the best thing is all the beautiful artwork and history surrounding King Kamehameha, his family and heirs. Hawaii has a rich history, and it’s on display at this hotel! The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. I will stay again!"
