"Very enjoyable hotel. The 2-room suite was extremely spacious and had great lighting and windows, very convenient furnishings. The staff was welcoming, the breakfast (mostly continental) delightful, the electric car charging easy, and of course, the location downtown bar harbor was perfect. Special thanks for the afternoon homemade cookies in the hallway, which made our day after a long hike."

"I paid for 3 Deluxe King bedrooms - stayed 1 night 4/19/2026. Christopher at front desk gave me 2 basic king bedrooms (Room # 102 and 103) and 1 deluxe king bedroom (208). I was tired and did not want to start a complain. Just wish if Christopher would refund the difference between the deluxe and the basic room instead of not saying anything. "

"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes "

"This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. I woke up in the middle of the night with my sinuses burning and got to sit outside at 3 am just to breath. I ended up with a severe...

"Amazing accommodations in a great location. Within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and pier. The condo was comfortable, quaint and spotless — a wonderful place to unwind for the day. Eric and Tim were prompt in responding to my questions about the condo — which was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back!"
