"It is a beautiful place. Great to relax, take snorkeling/diving trips or land excursion. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My only comments to consider is that during our last day the resort changed menu in the property restaurant reducing choice of dishes. I hope that eventually the menu will be expanded back to the level that it was before may be by adding new dishes compare with the previous menu."

"This hotel is fantastic. Perfect spot for surfers and lookers alike. Great viewing spots from restaurant. Sit and relax with food or drink and the break is right in front of you. Breakfast all day so no need to rush. Quite a few great eateries close and best massage a few doors up in the bamboo hut. Surfboard hire available. Great pool. Beds are firm and comfortable. Can’t find any negatives about umadewi surf resort."

"Lovely Glamping experience in a peaceful part of Bali. More African feeling not only because of the tents but also the plants in that area. Great to go snorkelling. The reef recovered a lot. Many fishes and colourful corals. We stayed there already 4 years before and loved it. It is definitely worth to do the long drive to Menjangan. The tents are already a bit weathered but that is natural. The gardens and the restaurant are wonderful. The food was better then 4 years before and the whole staff...

"We loved staying at Plataran Menjagen. The beautiful Villa was extraordinary. The Eco-Friendly resort had every thing we had hoped for and more with monkeys and deer running around and coming close to our Villa. The Villa had a sand beach and lagoon. We had the lagoon and beach all to ourselves. The surrounding environment is gorgeous. Very clean and beautiful plants everywhere. A wonderful restaurant a few feet away from our Villa. "Excellent, everything was perfect, friendly staff, clean room, beautiful surrounding and near to dive and snorkeling operators beachside. Hotel let us borrow one of the rooms for shower after returning from snorkeling after we had already checked out. Recommend to stay at seaview deluxe room which is some distance away from road/neigbouring lot/mosque noise. Beautiful snorkeling in Menjangan!"
