"If you can, avoid room 011 (ground floor), not sure what is above but footsteps came through the ceiling late at night and again early morning which woke me. Told reception on leaving but just got a “sorry about that”. Some staff nice and friendly. Public areas OK but a bit tired in places. Free parking and a service station in walking distance. Overall did the job but not cheap. "

"Good food and a lovely place to stay. Only downside was a little road noise at night but that wasn’t too bad"

"The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . "

"Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands"

"Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. "Had a lovely stay and a fantastic meal room was small and didn’t look very inviting for the out side but the bed was very comfortable room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent definitely go back, "
