Cromwell's Tap House

8/10 Good

The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Thr best hotel in Llangollen. Superb spa, location, food and ambience. Staff are great too. Will always stay here. The rooms are modern and relaxing. 10 mins walk into town. 10/10"

The lion hotel

Yak & Yeti Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely last minute booking, great location and staff were lovely. Didn't eat dinner but breakfast was lovely and fresh."

The Alb

10/10 Excellent

"The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train."

Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire

8/10 Good

"only complaint the bed wasnt very comfortable and dovet to small for size of bed food very good"

Lion Quays Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay as always. I would highly recommend this hotel"

Buckatree Hall Hotel

8/10 Good

"Staff were very friendly and beds were really comfortable, however, the hotel does appear to be in a period of transition. At the time of our visit the lift wasn't working, and there was no food available in the hotel. On a minor point the TV in the room couln't pick up a signal , maybe due to it's position right by the Wrekin. At first glance the hotel does appear to be in an isolated spot, but it is less than 30 minutes drive to all the attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire Hills and Shrewesbury. Telford is about 15 minutes away, and there are a good choice of restaurants there. All in all I would be happy to stay there again."

The Old Orleton Inn

8/10 Good

"Lovely clean room, it had a welcome fridge with a bottle of orange juice two bottles of water and a carton of milk. Breakfast consisted of cereal or oats, an apple a pastry and some nuts. Parking was free. Even though I overlooked the main road the traffic didn't keep me awake. Unfortunately there was a wake their so I walked 10 mins up the road to eat, so I can't tell you about the food. But I would stay again."
