"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

The beds were comfortable, although we found the mattresses a bit on the hard side, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both hot and continental options. The only real issue was the soundproofing.
