"Pool was never working nor was the door to the room b-113 door is jammed, you have to push with your whole body to open it. Beds where advertised as queens and are full size and toilet is made for a little kid not an adult. Maintenance was called out to repair door never showed up only person that went was house keeper small lady wasn't much help with door that looked like its been through better times."

"Beautiful restored hotel, room was clean, nice clean towels and toiletries. Comfortable bed. Down side is if you get there after dark the front door is locked and reception closed. You'll have to call a number, walk across the street to another hotel to check-in and get the key. Parking is shared with the city hall across the street."

"Jim Butler use to be a great place to stay. It’s not anymore! The place is run down, and the staff at check in is less than impressive! I called ahead as I would be making a later arrival to verify someone would be there. The lady who answered the phone spoke as if I was wasting her time. Then at check in she was completely unpleasant. I had a less than impressive stop the time before but thought I’d give the place one more chance. Never again will I stay at the Jim Butler."
