"Definitely better than one would expect for the locality. It's clearly an older property, but equally clear that the staff is serious about making it a pleasant place to stay with what they have. The night clerk was very cheerful and friendly. The room was very nice, although the pillows leave much to be desired. Breakfast could have been much improved with more options, and the waffle batter was nearly empty and never replenished that I saw. Overall a pleasant oasis in a desert."

"The room was well appointed and a bit dated but clean. The person at the front desk was kind and very accommodating. It met our needs well for a quick stop over. If I travel through this town again I would stay here."

"A younger, portly, unkempt woman working on the evening of 7-6-26, told us we had to wait 10-15 minutes to check in because it was near shift change. We had just driven 17 hours so this was unacceptable. The room was nice and the casino was fun though. There was also good parking for our U-haul."

"it’s just a perfect little motel for the one night stop. Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but is very sweet inside, even had a freezer big enough to hold my bag of ice!
i’d much rather give my business to an independent little place like this, and it’s half the price of all the standard stuff you see on the road."

"This place was really dirty, just everywhere. The room smelled and the bathroom smelled terribly. The carpeting and sheets had stains on them. I slept fully clothed and wore my sandals in the shower. I almost left in the middle of the night but we were so tired from driving and it was late. We barely slept and left much earlier than we planned to. Plus, the neighborhood is kinda scary. I kept going to the window and checking the car."
