"On this trip, we tried a couple of new places. One was very bad and expensive (Cottonwood) while Holiday was excellent and well-priced. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely appointed for a traditional motel. Unlike many hotels these days, the bedding was ticker with an extra blanket provided, with both decorative and decent-sized pillows. "The receptionist was kind and friendly even after we had to delay our check in to 4:30am due to winter road closures. I felt warm and welcomed. The to-go breakfast was phenomenal after our long drive: biscuits and gravy, red velvet waffles, breakfast sandwiches. A great selection. The room was clean and comfortable."
