"From check in to check out, all of the staff on reception, the bar and restaurant and the domestic staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. The young man on reception made sure there was a table for my friends and I in the bar and that we had a view of a television to watch international rugby, even though the rest of the bar were watching football and the barman made sure the channel was changed for us. "Hotel was very convenient for Crimond race track. Staff were very helpful. The main road outside was closed due to a burst water pipe. To get to the track would have taken over an hour, instead of 10 minutes if the diversion signs were followed. They showed me how to get there with a minor de-tour and provided a map! Everything was spotlessly clean. We will definitely stay again."

Our room was large and well appointed. We were in the stable building. The main castle/hotel itself was really beautiful. There were two weddings (on different days) while we were there…which was fun to see since the men were in their full dress kilts and the women in their gowns. The Cave Bar is fantastic!
