"Great place"

"We stayed at El Rancho Hotel for one night as we traveled through New Mexico. We discovered its history while we dined in their restaurant. Our room was a total Rt66 nostalgia trip which we loved, from the wall digital phone to the working phonograph with albums. But the comfort of the bed, the walk-in shower, and the 65”+ Smart TV (we watched a Netflix movie) were all better than the good ol’ days. We had very good 1/2 lb burgers and the chips & trio dips at the restaurant. Every encounter with staff in booking, check-in & out, & request were handled professionally yet in a personable manner. My wife & I wished we had a few days more just to explore some of the features of El Rancho that we didn’t have time to check out. Any trips through NM will hopefully include another stay. "

"Room was comfortable and bed was well-made and easy to sleep in. Nice decor and staff was very accommodating and friendly during my first day. Free amenities like complimentary breakfast and nachos were a nice bonus. The shower temperature was perfect and we got more than just a thimble of shampoo which I really appreciate "

I classify this property as a 'Diamond In The Rough' with everything from staff, amenities and cleanliness at the top! Even though it is located amongst multiple freeway interchanges, it was quiet and very relaxing. Enjoy your stay!!!"
