As a point of interest Hotels skip the 13th floor or room to avoid alienating guests who suffer from triskaidekaphobia (the fear of the number 13). Because up to 13% of people feel uneasy staying on that level, developers find it easier and better for business to simply rename the floor."

"We had a wonderful and restful overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. The room that we booked had issues with the AC, and we were given another room. The manager took us around and showed us one of the two rooms they had available, and right away we chose the first without looking at the other one. "We had a family wedding in Santa Rosa and chose the Comfort Inn. Location was good. The kids swam in the pool. We got snacks at the small store in the lobby and had a decent breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and cool. I would stay here again."
