We had a lovely stay at La Fonda! The location was perfect and we enjoyed everything there was to do and see in the Plaza area. We loved our room with a beautiful view of the church and a very comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Our quick trip to Santa Fe was just what we had hoped. We definitely recommend La Fonda on the Plaza!

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It gives an old school boutique vibe. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. The room was very nice and comfortable. Room service was great. Every employee I communicated with from valet to room service was awesome, friendly and polite. The hotel is located in the heart of it all in the downtown art district. I will stay again on my next visit to magical Santa Fe.

La Fonda is always wonderful because of its historic location and building. Major construction, so bar in the lobby is closed and access to the parking garage is difficult. That part is supposed to be completed by June.
La Plazuela restaurant in the lobby is open and wonderful as always..
Bar area in the lobby is closed off with walls of wonderful historical photos.

The property is beautiful and the restaurant was wonderful. The area was fanatic. Gorgeous. Check in staff a bit odd and lacked friendliness. The valet isn’t a true valet, you’ll need to go get your own car and walk with luggage to the garage to get your own car. We loved our stay. Lovely place and area.

We will definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff and even though the hotel is historical it is well appointed with modern amenities. The location is right next to the plaza and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and museums.
