"This is an older hotel, so expectations should be par with that. Staff friendly and helpful. A/C is not "per room" but centrally controlled and was set at 66 degrees at night (too cold for me, but they did have plenty of blankets). The "free breakfast" is not at the location, but 4 blocks away at owner's diner. The food there was very good--ate both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was truly excellent."

"Great breakfast! This was our first time to stay here while passing through on a longer trip. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly at front desk and a breakfast. We will definitely stay here again."

"We have stayed there many times. Air was out in the hotel. The room air worked sporadically. The people above us were very loud until late hours. Front desk staff not so helpful, they were probably hot!"

There were a few flies flying around in the room. There were a few ants roaming around on the floor and ceiling. There was a small gap between the door and the floor. "It's a slice of heaven. Immediately adjacent to Philmont Scout Ranch. Setting is perfect, isolated, peaceful. The innkeeper are exceptional. The Casa is like a villa with rooms arra get around a gracious patio. I hated to leave."
