There was a bad, stale smell in the unit. Sofa fabric was not clean. It appeared that the is minimum cleaning performed between tenants. Biggest plus was location. Will not be staying here again.

Location was great, less than 10 minutes from everything. Parking is pricey, access is cumbersome and parking garage smells horrible but it is secure. I had multiple issues with my room as far as things being damaged and broken. I took video and let the office know right away, issue were resolved quickly. Coffee table was very loose and unstable, issue with shower head, pullout sofa smelled of urine but was replaced. The ladies at the desk were ok, a little unbothered but the gentleman who I believe was a manager was great! All in all it was decent, I think it was just my particular condo with issues. I would stay here again after attempting to find something else unsuccessfully. The value of the room was great, I just feel the stay would have been better with some adjustments.

Finding the onsite parking was hectic. No instructions were given. Building was nicely decorated. Our room lacked cleanliness. The carpet in the bedroom was soaked. Had to wear our shoes because your socks would get soaked. Kinda gross!!!! They only a had small one bed room to move us to so we stayed in the room. Maybe we just got a bad room, 806 beware! Location was walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go.

Not worth the money. I will start by saying the location is very good, it’s in the heart of everything, and almost everything is within walking distance. However, the room itself did not meet expectations at all. The space was decent in size, but when we arrived, the couch cushions and pull out mattress were stained, and even the bed sheets and pillows for the pull out had noticeable yellow spots. The windows were also dirty and full of smudges, which made the space feel even less clean. The staff was quick to bring replacements, but unfortunately, we found a bug in the new sheets they provided. The most concerning part was a moldy paper towel stuck to the ice cubes coming out of the freezer container. We all drink from that fridge and use the ice, so that was especially unsettling. The room also didn’t match the photos provided, and the view was underwhelming, with no decoration like what was shown online, mostly just plain white walls. The bathroom, however, was nicer. Most nights, we came back to a strong smell of weed in the apartment, and none of us smokes. The “zen garden” or outdoor area was also misleading, just some fake flowers and a statue, not a garden at all. The community patio also felt bare and disappointing. While the staff was helpful and responsive, the overall experience was well below average. We regret not booking a hotel instead, especially considering the price. I only stay 3 nights , didn’t do laundry. But the property had everything. Very spacious . My room was just behind the elevator so loud noise heard every time someone was using the elevator. Beautiful place!

The condo we were assigned was beautiful. The washer and dryer came in handy since we are a family of five. It was a bit of a ways from the French Quarter but we made due. The internet on the other hand was very slow. I had to work while in New Orleans and had to use my phone for conference calls. It made things a bit challenging for 3 days. One note, pay for the parking in the parking garage. I don’t recommend trusting street parking, which isn’t free.

The California Building property was just as advertised. It was walking distance to most of the places I wanted to visit. The shower head wasn't working, but also had a handheld that did work.Would definitely stay again.

It was decent. It did what it was suppose to do. The good: it was clean, well kept, had a laundry room. Check in process was very quick and smooth. Cool game room. Spacious. It’s like a little studio, has utensils, stove, etc.. No need for keeping track of a door card as it has a smart lock. The staff was friendly. The bathroom was nice. It was in the heart of New Orleans. The bad: Too many codes to remember. There’s no broom, the view on the terrace is blocked by other buildings. Parking is $45 per day but there are plenty parking lots that are $5-$7 for ten hours, right across the street. $45 would be ok for the entire stay but per day???? Come on that’s overdoing it.

Would not book again. Not worth it. We had spiders in the bed, the morning that we checked out. Also, dryer was not working even after 3 drying cycles. Had a very distinct smell every time we walked in, wore off after a while. Parking is extremely inconvenient. Listing has no details for really anything.
