I recently stayed at a 77 Old hotel that promised a relaxing experience, but instead, I found myself dealing with unexpected charges and poor customer service. Upon receiving my bank statement, I was shocked to discover that I had been charged for services I wasn't even aware I could use, such as the gym, phone, and internet.
The hotel staff never informed me about these charges, nor did they provide any information about the incidental charges during the check-in process. Instead, they simply charged my card without any prior notice or consent.
To make matters worse, the hotel failed to provide a receipt for these charges, leaving me in the dark about the specific services I was being billed for. It was only after multiple phone calls and hours of frustration that I was finally able to get some clarity on the situation.
This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I would strongly advise potential guests to be aware of the hidden charges and poor customer service at this hotel. It's essential to read the fine print and ask questions about any additional fees or charges before agreeing to them, as it seems the hotel is more interested in making a quick buck than providing a comfortable and transparent experience for their guests.
