"Rooms are clean, buffet breakfast great-they have a huge selection, eggs made to order, coffee machine that makes latte! Big front reception area, they xray all luggages. They have an on site travel/tours company & booked our trips on the spot for the next day with no issues. Restaurant was just ok but the bar was great. Restaurants & shops near within walking distance. Pool closes at sunset."

"We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Achti Resort—easily the best hotel of our entire trip to Egypt. Our room was very clean and included a thoughtful welcome treat of Turkish/Lebanese-style baklava. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking both the Nile and the hotel’s beautiful garden. "The property was outstanding! Very tranquil and lush. We enjoyed exploring every bit of the property. The hotel staff were all attentive and respectful. The hotel arranged a local guide, named Hamatto who was just excellent. He is an Egyptologist and gave us so much back story of ancient Egypt. We loved our tours with him!"

Hervorzuheben ist das wirklich großartige Team des Hotels, besonderen Dank an Ahmed Hassani, der sich unbeschreiblich um uns gekümmert hat. Besonders positiv zu erwähnen ist auch das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet. Da wir mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs waren, haben wir uns über die abgesperrten Parkplätze des Hotels gefreut. "The room was great, the location is a bit far out from luxor town but is 100% worth it bcs you could enjoy the views of the hot air balloons overhead during breakfast. Mohra helped us well with even setting up shuttle service to the station and a hit air balloon ride in the morning (separate charge). Overall great stay, would recommend."

Live music inside the main courtyard during the evening was pleasant. Good shopping options within the resort. short cab ride to both the temples is an added plus"

"I did not get free breakfast but the menu was very very reasonable and unique! The staff is so very kind. I met the owner and some of his family and they are incredible. He went out of his way to ensure I has a comfortable adventure while staying with them, from his suggested Nile river boat rides to private drivers. It was the most memorable trip I have ever had! Highly recommend!"
