    We had a comfortable stay. The rooms were very spacious. Our bathroom needed repainting. But I believe some rooms were being decorated, so maybe ours was next.

    Room .. ~OK, parking OK as I was early Told booking in 'after 17-00 but many booked in at 16-00 so i joined them ... timing need reviewing? Restaurant booked in OK then 20 minutes before anyone talked to, ordered drink and food, relishes tray arrived quickly and main course ordered. 20 minutes after relishes complete my main course arrived. no host 'food OK' question. staff very busy but provision should be made for such times. I will learn and act accordingly on my next booking.

    It is cheaper than most stays and conveniently placed. Huge bed, in huge sparsely decorated room. Bed comfortable if you don’t mind no mattress cover.Soft pillows. Amenities Spartan. Good for one or two nights tops.

    Large room with all you’d need for a short stay, but no frills. The decor is a quite bleak. Value for money with the real bonus of private parking and a short drive from the centre of Newark or access the bi-monthly antiques fair at the showground. Excellent Indian restaurant right on the doorstep.

    Good for business stay

    It was a quick one night stay. Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. It reminded me of a American Motel in the outside block. Clean inside, hot shower and amenities so all good. Just to note the A1 is on one side and the train on the other. Lots of parking. Very good value for money. Unfortunately I arrived late so could not have a meal here. Looks like good reviews for food and looked very clean and smart in the restaurant. Would stay again.

    Always stay here when down visiting family. Rooms always spotless. Untill this time. Rubbish left in drawers, mould on ceiling and round tap in sink.

    It was convinent location room very specious. Downside was the door in bathrooms are dirty and carpet could use vacuuming. It was ok for what we wanted.

    R8ggt next to a good resteraunt, easy acsess and parking and very pleasant staff. Accomodation adequate but let down by dirty bathroom floor and coffee/tea facility. But for the money l was happy enough.

    Large room with TV, 2 chairs, 2 sofas and comfortable bed, but only standard size. Large bathroom with large shower. But nowhere to put your toilet bag, no shelving. We arrived about 5pm and there was no hot water, and only luke warm in the morning, (I understand there is a large tank and it can run out) Easy to find on rounderbout .

    Ok for a 1 night stay if on a budget

    We booked 2 rooms 1 for my mum and 1 for husband and I as I was doing a local race We were given room 9 and 10 Staff were helpful and friendly Rooms were damp smelling both rooms had damp carpets and stains on them No bedside lights in room 10 or remote Desk from and old office very tatty Headboard not fixed Bathroom needing tlc Good points - spacious rooms and parking fine , and you cannot be too harsh when it was a cheap price we paid , so all ok for 1 nights stay but wouldn’t want to be staying for a romantic getaway or a treat

    Accomodation was very reasonably priced, however the radiators never worked , they had place 1 portable heater in the room. We had to be recited from room 8 to room 6 as there was a shower issue, the water was not draing and flooded the bathroom out. Giving us another room was not an issue. I would stay there again but not in the winter.

    Super Average

    Clean room with 2 double beds heater and shower. Mattress squishy, bedding plentiful and clean, the mirror had fallen off the wall, the chest of drawers had a missing drawer. No soap in the bathroom and only 2 towels. There was no milk with the condiments in the room. These are all little things and did not spoil our stay but clearly they could do better.
