The rooms were cold even with the heating on, the quilts were like tissue paper. My room was a bit run down with scuffs etc on the walls and small holes in the curtains that let the light through early morning.
The car park they recommend is at least a 10 minute walk away if you walk fast. Not sure they really think about disabled guests re parking.
On returning at night we were stopped at the door and asked for our name and room number and ticked off a list. I couldn’t bring my friend up to my room to lend her a coat as it was freezing and they were staying in a hotel a bit further away.
The positive is that it’s in a good location for the bars and apparently the breakfast is really good- but I don’t manage to get to try it due to not being able to get out of my pit in time!
This hotel is very expensive and I’m not sure it was worth the amount I paid to be honest compared to what friends had paid for their hotels close by.
