The stay was for a family wedding which was fantastic. Amazing venue and so comfortable to stay at. Staff were fantastic nothing any bother. Food was excellent. We loved our stay thank you so much.
Lovely stay and would highly recommend.
Professional and friendly staff and lovely cocktails and dinner.
Will definitely come back.
The bedroom was amazing and the bath - to die for!
Its a beautiful place to stay, we were at a family wedding absolutely perfect, gardens were gorgous sun was shining...
Rooms are very unique beautiful, breakfast was lovely, staff so helpful...great place to stay !!!
We had an amazing anniversary stay at this beautiful, charming hotel.
We were greeted by welcoming, friendly staff upon arrival, and check in was quick and easy.
Our room was immaculate and impressively decorated. The bed was very comfortable, but the stand out feature was the tin bath - a real showstopper.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic night away.
Just spent two nights there for my son's wedding, what a fabulous chic place.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent hot food served at all meals we had including the breakfasts. Bathroom in our room (23) was unbelievably hot with a fabulous rain shower. Not cheap but worth every penny, 5*
Lovely romantic night away.
Quirky little room with wooden beams and a chandelier. Lovely comfy bed and a great choice of hot drinks.
Best bit was the ensuite bathroom with a large walk in shower and a roll top metal bath!
Garden is lovely, restaurant is nice and staff are very professional.

We loved our stay, the room was lovely and there was nice touches such as the chocolate and nice coffee. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning.
The only down side is the evening meal and drinks are on the pricey side, £13 for a double gin and lemonade (I am aware there is not much competition in otterburn). The meal was nice though and the staff were so lovely and accomodating :).
We visited for a wedding in the adjoining Le petite chateau and had a wonderful day. All of the staff were polite, helpful and service was excellent. The wedding food and the breakfast were both delicious. Our room was a good size with a lovely walk in rainfall shower. My only slight disappointment was that the room was very dark despite 2 windows because they both faced onto a wall. It didn’t really matter to us because we literally only slept in it but I’d be unhappy if we were staying a few nights.
Definitely recommend.
Beautiful venue, lovely location. Great selection of drinks and food menu was good. Breakfast was very nice indeed.
However, the venue had a wedding on the night of my stay and I would have appreciated a) being told this was the case and b) not being put in a room directly above the room that the party was in. Terrible nights sleep and I’m puzzled why when allocating rooms you would place people in that room.
I would recommend this location for a peaceful stay, comfortable/firm beds great bath and shower pressure, and temperature control.
Based on my experience of the dining situation I wouldn't recommend the pub if I'm honest.
the service wasn't great, it seemed as if our patronage was somewhat bothersome, took awhile to be seated and even longer for our order to be taken on what appeared to be a somewhat quite evening.
We stayed at Le Petit Chateau to celebrate a friend's wedding. Our room, 20, was on the first floor and overlooking the carpark but we were not there for the views.
The room features a rustic bed with logs for legs. The paintwork was a dark bluey green on two walls with exposed brickwork to the others. Subdued lighting with hanging lights at either side of the bed and a low wattage ceiling lamp. There was a small wardrobe housing the safe, hair dryer and fan with limited but enough hanging space.
Complimentary Marlish water was provided along with Belgian chocolate snacks and a pack of local shortbread biscuits, tea and coffee choices too.
The bathroom was exposed brickwork, large bathsheets and handtowels were provided. A marbled handbasin along with a toilet and a large shower. Flooring was stone flags finished it off.. complimentary qualitiy soaps and shampoos were plentiful.
We were there for a wedding party downstairs with entertainment. There were short delays in being served at times but no drama.
A great night was had by all. Our room was quiet and before I knew it, it was time to head down for breakfast.
Tea and coffee were offered and a great choice of breakfast was available to order,.I had the Hadrian's Wall full English though there were many options including Vegan and GF.
