Excellent location, property clean and comfortable, we will most certainly go back in the near future. Walking distance to amenities, restaurants and the Falls. Besides, it is super calm to have a well deserved night rest.

Le lieu de l’hébergement est particulièrement intéressant, plusieurs attractions sont à distance de marche. L’espace intérieur est intéressant, sans être le grand luxe, c’est agréable pour un séjour en famille. Voici quelques suggestions d’améliorations: ajouter des espaces (tables ou bureau) pour déposes ses bagages et vêtements, ajouter quelques chaises pliantes, donner les modes d’emplois pour la télé et le mécanismes d’ouverture et de fermeture des serrures de porte, Nous étions 7 personnes, une seule chambre est particulièrement rudimentaire, mais dans l’ensemble nous avons été satisfaits. Merci

Property was clean and conveniently located to all attractions. The host cummunicated well with us and was very responsive to all requests.

We started our stay with putting in the code for the door going up the stairs to find someone else was already in this unit. Thankfully they came home just as we were coming downstairs they rang owner who sent us another code for unit next door. No apology just new code. The unit was very lacking and nothing like advertised the furnace which ran the air con was so loud we couldn't use it , the kitchen didn't have enough plates or bowls for 7 people we had booked for, not enough seating for 7 in dining or lounge, grey , brown marked towels, wet washing in the drier, no soundproofing once one person was up so was the whole house was and the neighbours sounding like they were in your house. The courtyard was knee deep in weeds the deck had no deck furniture and an extension cord running to next deck. The park on the boundary in the photos had caution tape over gate and the homeless people go there at night yelling and fighting all night. We brought a soccer ball as there was no toys for kids as advertised but kids had to wear shoes as we were worried about needles and broken glass. This place has some potential but needs to be fitted out with better quality and more facilities for four bedroom house and more attention to detail. The photos didn't represent the unit we got. The location was good with a 10 minute walk down hill to the waterfall.

Check in process was very easy, we received instructions via a msg on the hotels.com platform with the address/unit, access code and wifi. I would prefer a text or at least text notification because unless you have the app installed you don’t get notified (only email saying you have one unread msg on the platform). Keep in mind this is more an issue with hotels.com rather than with the host. The entire house was VERY clean, although there was a bag of garbage left in the garage when we arrived. The kitchen had a great array of utensils and cutlery, glassware, bowls, plates, dish soap, coffee pods, hot choc, sugar etc. Oddly, there was no towel but we grabbed an extra hand towel from one of the bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean with body wash, shampoo, conditioner and towels all provided. The bedrooms were also clean with comfortable beds and full bedding. What’s good: - very clean unit, with all the essentials - whole house to yourself - close to the falls, Clifton Hill, the convention centre - competitive pricing Downsides/room for improvement: - missing smoke detector in the kitchen (of all places). - bedside plugs were inaccessible. - host communication is lacking, I messaged on the platform AND direct to his number and two days later he still has not responded two days later. - no checkout instructions.
