"Exceptionally clean and comfortable"

"Clean, with great service. It would be nice if the room had darkening curtain, a lot of daylight coming through the blinds at 6:30 in the morning."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have been visiting Niagara on the Lake yearly for decades and this is our first stay at Shaw Club Hotel. Our room was spotless. The linens for the beds and bathroom were very good quality. With the exception of a few noisy neighbours, the hotel is very quiet. Our only criticisms are the poor lighting and lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. As well as the extremely difficult tap to operate in the shower. Of note, the receptionist did not inquire about our stay when we were checking out. "

"We were there for our first trip with our baby. The staff were all very nice and accommodating.They also set up a pack and play in our room, waiting for us when we arrived. Everyone was very friendly and warm, the food was great, and the garden was beautiful. "

"Clean room and very friendly staff. Lovely to have a fresh cooked breakfast. Room has a slope which made things interesting. Great location by the lake and a short walk to shops and restaurants."

"Property in a good location with quick access to centre of Niagara-On-The-Lake and to dozens of wineries. Parking was good. Staff were friendly and overall, great. Hotel has no elevator. Our room on second floor was clean but small, particularly the bathroom. Beds were good but pillow were poor as was the bedsheets. Not sure what they are made of but not soft and actually noisy when you moved. Felt “plasticly”. Weird! In summary, room was okay and staff was excellent. Breakfast was very modest but the ladies looking after the breakfast were wonderful. Carol was one and lady on second day I can’t remember her name but both were terrific. I would rate our stay 4 out of 5 stars. RB"

"Great stay. Perfect location for biking to NOTL and Niagara Falls. They are opposite directions ... Each is about a 30km round trip. Very quiet and non-touristy location. "
