"Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful.
We arrived approximately half an hour early and were able to check in straight away as our room was ready.
Although the hotel is next to the station it is very quiet - you cannot hear the trains.
There is a lovely roof top bar for guest use with excellent views of the city.
Would certainly consider staying here again as excellent for onward travel being so close to the station."

"I have never experienced a hotel that refuses to store luggage after check-out—until now. We stayed for 8 days in a 4-bed room, traveling across continents with large suitcases (4 check-in and 4 cabin bags) and a wheelchair for my mother. Given the circumstances, we expected at least a basic level of accommodation from the staff.

"Hotel Library Amsterdam is all about location. It is within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal and many of the main places you would want to visit, yet it is tucked away on a quiet corner, so it was not noisy at night. The staff were genuinely helpful, not just polite, and were very accommodating with requests like luggage storage. The coffee was also great. Everything else about the hotel was okay, not exceptional, but the location and staff made the stay worthwhile."

"Every aspect was good - location, price, room quality - except for one incident. At about midnight our first night the fire alarms throughout the building sounded and everyone evacuated. We tried using the communication protocols provided but the Numa hosts stopped responding to us. Hence, even though help did arrive, we were not informed. We had 3 young frightened children; hence this was extremely frustrating as we did not know if we needed to find other accommodations, etc"

"Excellent location for the central station (around a 10minute walk max) and close to local attractions.
We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor (be aware there is a lift to the 2nd floor and then steep steps up to the 3rd floor. These weren’t an issue for us but would be if mobility issues).
Our room was clean, bathroom clean and we slept well, no noise heard from anywhere.
Staff were welcoming and always someone available if you needed them which we didn’t.
Would happily stay again and...

"An ideally located hotel with most key tourist attractions only a 20 minute walk away.
Facilities were clean and functional. Rooms were slightly small but comfortable and tidy.
Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival.
Noise levels reported by other reviewers are accurate however the bass music we experienced was not enough to keep us awake.
However we were unfortunate to experience some idiots in our first night shouting very loudly in part of the hotel. So loud in fact it woke us up....

"We loved this hotel, we were here for our entire stay in Amsterdam. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were really great. Our room was very spacious for a family of 4 with young kids, and kids got enough space to explore after coming back from sightseeing. The beds were perfect for everyone. The location of this hotel was very ideal for tourists, 8 min walk from centraal station and 10-15 min walk so close to the fun dining and shopping areas."
