"This chateau is managed by a gracious French couple, Jean-Jacques and his wife Francine. They were exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs, as visiting Americans arriving after an unexpectedly long day of travel from London, across the Channel from Dover to Calais, and then by our local driver, who was booked through the excellent Private Tours of England.
I'll admit that we weren't as prepared as we might have been for our first night in France. Jean-Jacques and Francine spoke only...
