"This hotel is poor, the shower door was hanging off, but this did not really matter as the shower itself did not work properly as there was no water coming out. The TV did not work properly, the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel sells itself as a wedding venue, would not like to attend a wedding there. The location is next to some kind of lorry yard and building waste recovery site. Staff were unhelpful. The cost for the rooms does not reflect what you would expect, reminds me of a very poor Travel lodge. It is fair to say, that I have stayed in 100's of hotels and this place ranks in the bottom quarter. I understand it is new owners, perhaps they will sort the issues out and run the hotel in a way that paying guests would expect for the money it costs to stay there. Also the restaurant is closed most of the week??"

"Clean, tidy, good bathroom , excellent shower . Toilet seat cracked and repaired with black tape… needs replacing. Good value for money, nice people."

"The room had a TV but no power socket close enough to plug it into. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, needs a new mattress. Quilt had an old blood stain on it. Bathroom sink was blocked and looked as though it had been for a long time."
