"Wow factor!
This was a one night stay but will always be remembered . Warm greeting from Lorraine and explanation of the hotel and local attractions. The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a delicious selection of starters for breakfast followed by a home cooked Scottish breakfast. We will return in the future for sure.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel"

"It definitely pays to read all communication from the hotel prior to arrival. Then you get the check-in instructions beforehand.
Otherwise, a decent hotel in a lovely part of Glasgow, just across the road from the Botanic Gardens and a stone's throw from the vibrant West End.
Lovely freshly made breakfast, and friendly staff serving.
The room was basic, but clean and served its purpose. Up in the gods mind you, a bit of a climb!"

"Bed was awful, I kept rolling out! The staff were snooty and not friendly. The location is great, the hotel is clean except for the weird “fall candle” smell on the 2nd floor, the rooms are pretty. Not a terrible, just average. Highly recommend Salty’s chips and pizza down the street for food, service was awesome and food was good and plentiful."

"Welcoming and very helpful staff.The room was spacious,the en suite shower was not,there was nowhere to store toiletries in the shower area so had to keep them in my washbag in the bedroom.The bed and bedding were old,the duvet was dead flat so had to keep fluffing it up.When I booked I was under the impression breakdast was included in the price,this wasn't the case,I had to pay ten pounds at reception and then give the receipt to the dining staff before I could get breakfast.
