"We recently stayed here, on checkin we were made aware that it only opened 2 weeks ago.
There was a strong smell of paint when you arrive, a grubby lift and access to the hotel isn’t great either, due to no fault of their own- there was recently a fire so union street has been closed. Bare this in mind if booking and don’t mind doing a lot of walking.
The room was absolutely roasting, we complained and asked for a fan, which we were told none were available as they are due to be delivered...

BUT the rooms and maintenance need improvement, and the concept for design and décor needs a lot of work. While we were there one of the elevators went out. The floor of the shower is slippery when wet, and dangerous for older people who could fall. Previously we stayed in a room that was much better. "Had such a lovely stay - was upgraded to a beautiful suite . I have been very ill and only just able to travel again and they left me a beautiful hand written card along with Prosecco and a little teddy . They went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay .
All the staff were so friendly and helpful . The champagne bar is lovely and the location is very central . It will 100% be our only go to whilst in Glasgow .

"I stayed at the Radisson blue for four days. There was a lot of construction happening on the street in front. Even with all of that, the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The lady that checked me in couldn’t have been nicer!I paid for the breakfast every day. It was very fresh and good! The staff at the restaurant was very helpful as well. I liked my room, and I had a great view out of my window. I highly recommend this hotel."
