"Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026.
Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely.
The breakfasts, both full English and scrambled eggs with salmon were outstanding.
In the afternoon we visited the nearby Heart of the Shires Shopping...

"What a lovely find. Suited us for an overnight stay with our dog. Clean, comfortable, warm, with a lovely breakfast. Even a sausage for Gus. Priced well too. Thanks. "

"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."
