Parkville MotelNorthern Suburbs

"I stayed here on AFL grand final weekend, where all the CBD hotels were absurdly priced. This motel is well placed a short tram trip from the CBD and close to the Melbourne Zoo.
The room is a typical motel room, with a bed, bathroom and tv and has everything you need for a short stay. The room was clean and despite being a really old building, was in reasonable shape.
It presented a good value for money option"

"The reception staff were very friendly. There was no soap holder in the bathroom so had to leave wet soap to skid around the bench top. The Ivanhoe Quest was situated well for the train which made it easy to get in and out of the city. I thought it was very expensive, but then I did not spend that much time in the room itself. I paid for the convenience of location for the events I went to."
