"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. "I checked in, took one look at the room, and checked out. Barely big enough for the bed. Photos posted online are misleading and I can’t imagine the positive reviews are from anyone who has been there. Because I checked in I lost two nights that I paid for. It was worth walking away from. The place is a dump. Man at the desk seemed very insistent I lock my car, despite it being mid-afternoon and I could see it through the window. "Our room was spacious and bright with excellent blackout curtains for night. Bed comfortable with bed linens and comforters that are fully washable (no worries who or what was previously on the bedspread 😉.) Room well maintained. Breakfast is good for a complementary breakfast — included hot options and the coffee was actually good.
Lots of parking and greenery around the building. Staff welcoming and every staff member greeted and smiled when passing them is the hallway.
