"Staff were brilliant
I have had breakfast before and fantastic plenty to eat
Bar. And outside area great lots of room
Sad to say it all needs updating up stairs.
All bathrooms need updating and decor and carpets need gone.
Definitely the WiFi needs sorting out so you can get on it when you are in your room
I wanted to chill out and watch Netflix but no internet
Apart from that always a lovely stay and they accept dogs which is fab"

"No frills. Bar can be noisy but earplugs are supplied.Room 5 is above pub entrance so smokers on pavement can be noisy. Huge variety of fresh fruit and cereals"

"The place and people are lovely x the lodge had real character and the people were very helpful.
Although you cannot walk into Alnwick we had no problem with getting an Uber into town.
Beautiful area"

"This is an excellent place to stay in a quiet and well maintained property. The hostess was so helpful with information about the area. We had a room with a double and single bed. Breakfast very good according to our request. The only minor issue is that the TV was too small for the size of the room. Having said that the fresh eggs from Muriel the hen was very tasty."

"We had a small problem with the room but the owner was very apologetic and gave us an alternative room. Very welcoming owners.
Good breakfast served on hot plates!!!
Evening meal was cooked to order and very good."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse: quiet bucolic location, handsome and spotless, well-maintained house, We stayed in the Tweed room which was spacious and had everything we needed (including an excellent high pressure shower!). Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return!"
