Excellent hostel in Nuuk

A fabulous hostel in Nuuk. Modern, spacious, very clean and with everything one would need. Its only 5 minutes in taxi from the airport, but 10-15 mins into city centre by car, so if you have a car its really easy. If not there is a bus stop about 5 mins walk (which I didn't do), or a taxi fare one way was DKK86. Phone owners on arrivaL (phone number is on the front door to building) and they will come over. Or, let them know arrival time and they can be there. Really lovely, helpful people. I highly recommend this property.

Nice hostel outside of city centre

It's a hostel with shared bathroom, kitchen facilities and a living area. We are lucky enough to have the whole apartment to ourselves for a family of 4. We occupied 2 double rooms, and there are another 2 rooms. It's clean and in good condition, and has a nice view if your apartment happens to face the sea. It's quite far from the city centre with taxi fare costing 160dkk each way. A bus is available every 20min, costing 20 dkk. No staff is on site. You have to call them when you arrive and then someone will turn up reasonably quickly to help you with the check in, or arrange for storage of luggages. They are kind enough to provide a phone at the waiting area for you to call them or call a taxi. There are also 2 supermarkets and a burger place within walking distance.

Bounded to be the very basic of what you need for a room. The rooms are in dormitory style where you have four rooms to a dorm with a huge living area, dining area and kitchen. Perfect for those who have big families who want to be all together. The view right now is fantastic. You can see the end of the runway and a beautiful picturesque view of the water and the distant houses in many colors. Nice quick walk up the hill. There is a nice shopping area. From there you can get the number one bus the downtown area for only 20 kroners a trip where a taxi would be about 56 kroners. The nice place is in downtown. Not much of a view of anything. From what I see. This place has a fantastic view but I think I may lose it soon cuz it looks like there's some construction nearby that looks like it's going to be blocked off.

the WORST customer service i hv ever encountered in my 35 years of travel. Rubbish bin in kitchen was full to the brim and never emptied despite me telling the cleaners. cleaner just barged into my room, didn't even bother knocking. the owner should be banned from owning a hotel/hospitality service as he has ZERO MANNERS, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS PLACE.

El trato es gentil, correcto, serio. La ubicación es retirada del centro pero con un autobús que pasa a unos 500 metros, se va moviendo uno. Pasa como cada 25 minutos. Dyrt i forhold til standarden.

Fire små værelser med udsigt til en lille havn - og byggeplads - og to fælles badeværelser samt en fin, fælles stue med køkken og opvaskemaskine. I betragtning af at der boede op til 9 personer samtidigt var der alt for lidt service (tallerkener, glas, knive og gafler) og ingen vinglas! (Der var to, da vi forlod stedet). Fællesarealerne blev holdt pænt rent. Der var ingen mulighed for at købe morgenmad, og udsigten var langt fra det, vi så på Hotels.com.
