"Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. "Hotel was clean and well maintained. Lovely grounds. Doesn’t have air conditioning but fans are provided. We had an issue as had booked twin rooms which I confirmed over 3 phone call but was assigned double rooms which the hotel did rectify but couldn’t done with out the hassle. Make sure you have written confirmation if you require twin rooms. Otherwise all good."

The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."
