"Nice hotel "

"Racism abounds!! The front desk staff were only too eager to place my husband and I in inferior rooms when we arrived. I had to aggressively self advocate as a woman of colour (and the one paying the tab!) for a room on the top floor! The hotel decor is nice but dated… lots of dark browns and beiges…. The cafe front staff was disrespectful and condescending. We waited more than five minutes to be acknowledged. They whispered to each other for a couple minutes then without even a “good day” one of them said “come with me”. The entire town was like this… I was happy when we were across the border and back in Canada!"

"Staff is nice but not enough of then for a busy weekend. Coffeemaker in room didn't work first day but was swapped out for the final day. Convenient location for us, would stay again. "

"I paid for breakfast when I booked through Expedia, but they said I didn’t so I wasted38 dollars. Then they said they would give me points for this mistake which I never received!"

"Unfortunately, the hotel is under construction and wasn’t aware of it until we arrived to check in. Even though the staff was excellent, just wasn’t able to use much of anything. It’s a good thing the property is getting renovated, the lobby is in bad shape and all the furniture was clearly worn out. "

"There are washers and dryers on second floor. Washers $3 load, small top load, washers are filthy, smell like mildew and take extra quarters, staff dont help. Dryers are same $3 some take extra quarters, dryers do work. Dont ask for Quarters or any Change from Desk They Will Not Give you Quarters or Change."

"The room was nice, bed was comfortable and it was very clean, but the biggest problem was the entire hotel smelled like weed. The bar and restaurant was closed the entire time we stayed there, which was on the weekend. Wouldn’t stay there again just based on the smell. Pretty off putting that they allow that. "

"3-star property with 5-star staff. The hotel and rooms could use a refresh for sure, but I wouldn’t want to deter anyone from staying here especially as an individual traveller. The staff were all extremely friendly and help"
