Loved the experience here, hotel is inside of the castle walls so the location couldn't be better! Just keep in mind you'll have to park outside the city walls and walk there with your luggage, so it's not for everyone.

Stay with breakfast was comfortable and reasonable good. Great location for vacation shopping and a little over 7 minutes walk to the free public car park. Paid parking is also around the same location as free one. Staff was friendly, I would stay again.

My husband and I spent a night in Obidos, and I wanted to to stay inside the walls of the city. The hotel is small and simple, which I was looking for. The hotel was ok for one night. Big plus, it was very clean. Personnel was not very welcoming, except for the breakfast lady, we had the place only for us. Location was definetly the best feature of this hotel.

A quaint traditional hotel located within the historic city walls. We stopped overbite driving from Lisbon Airport to Aveiro. Free parking in a gravel lot just a quick walk from the hotel. Hotel staff was very pleasant, offering recommendations for a late evening dinner, and welcoming to the continental style breakfast. Plenty of hot water in the shower and bed reasonably comfortable. Best part is waking in Obodos and having the town to yourself before the tour buses arrive. A very good value for the entirely reasonable rates.

Last minute booking in Obidos - a quaint walled town. Pleased to have been able to stay within the walls and miss most tourists at the end and beginning of the day. Walked the walls, had great views. Charming atmosphere. Had to park out of the town, but still very convenient and easier like that. Guillermo (?spelling) at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend

Stay within the wall city. Free parking is located outside the wall in a large parking lot shared with day visitors. Breakfast was very good, continental style. Staff was friendly and helpful with dining options outside and inside the wall city. Would highly recommend a stay here. No air conditioning, however a fan with the window open was very adequate

This property is clean and simple in a great location- the middle of Obidos BE AWARE- You cannot drive right up to the hotel- must park in nearby lot & walk .2 miles on cobblestone. Also. Elevator is not working & probably hasn’t for awhile. Recommend leaving heavy bags in car & carry light overnight bag.

Perfect for a short stay in Obidos

Check in simple and quick. Room to small really staying 6 nights. Housekeeping excellent. Breakfast basic but perfectly acceptable. The lift was out of action the whole duration of our stay and the stairs not easy to walk up for the older generation so that made life difficult. All said we would stay again.

The property location is good, inside the walls. The breakfast was excellent and the service good. The elevator was not working so the staff help us carry our huge bags up. The main issue is access to the property is limited. No cars can come inside the walls and parking is outside on the streets. Dragging our bags thr very narrow streets packed with people was a nightmare

The location of the property was desirable because of the location within the castle walls . The biggest issue was getting to the property. We travelled through Portugal by car and specifically booked accommodations that offered parking free or paid. This property listed that hotel parking was available. It turns out this isn't so. To make matters worse we weren't even able to drive to the property but we weren't advised, so google maps kept directing us up to the property and when we couldn't get there, we had to drive around the castle walls and detour back. We did this twice. Eventually we parked on the road and walked in. The person at the reception desk told us they do not have parking and the road closure was new, but I guess nobody thought it might be a good idea to inform incoming guests! Good thing we were able to walk. The room was not what we expected, it looked nothing like the pictures. The hotel advertised laundry and bar onsite, thère was no laundry available and the bar was closed. The only thing good about the hotel is the location. If you go to Obidos I strongly recommend staying in a neighbouring town and making Obidos a day trip.

is a great ubication because is inside the castle, the problem is that the parking is very far, need to get the bags by ourselves to the hotel like 1km no help, directions is confused. the room is compact but confortable (is an old property) many options for dinner, shop and visit inside places, the sunshine is perfect, similar of Tostana
