"The hotel had an odd layout and the room was small, which is expected for Tokyo, but it felt a bit tighter than anticipated. There was also very limited bathroom counter space, which made it less convenient for getting ready. The lobby was almost always busy and a bit chaotic. It does get the job done for a short stay, but overall it wasn’t my favorite and I probably wouldn’t choose it again."

"The hotel is very well located just a stone throw from Takadanobaba station. There is a very cheap drug store at the right corner nearby the hotel (not donki). Donki is located next to the hotel. There is also Peakcock supermarket just around 100m from the hotel"

"The area was really nice and clean. Very quiet. Felt very safe. Lots of meal options. 7 minute walk to the nearest metro."

"Very functional hotel room for inner Tokyo. Clean, relaxing and private. The window had the ability to be cracked open, allowing for fresh air when desired. Breakfast was a decent size, loads of options and catering to many breakfast styles. Always comforting coming back to this hotel room after a day's activities. Would stay here again."

"Convenient location for Shinjuku Station & Airport Express buses (which stop at hotel). Excellent breakfast (but scrambled eggs are like soup). Room (upper-level lady twin - for 2) was tiny and I kept tripping over the threshold and then down again into the tiny prefab bathroom. Deep tub to step into for shower. So much to trip over! One small hard pillow per bed. Dated interior and amenities, though clean, with small window that can’t open. Safe (except for tripping hazards) and convenient but...
