"Peaceful stay for 3 young girls but main door to our room had to be slammed in order for it to latch we came back to the room a couple times and seen we left it open. Spiders kept popping up throughout the stay in our bed, bathroom, and sink we finally looked up and cobwebs were pretty much everywhere on ceiling. Other than that would stay again due to great scenery and amenity’s provided just a heads up if those things bother you."

"This hotel was easy to find. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area when I asked for a specific type of food location. They immediately suggested a few places down the road breakfast was a bit carbohydrate heavy, but a wonderful variety, and my family and I found what we needed to fuel for the day. The room was clean and the air-conditioning worked great. The only downside was the interior of the hotel seemed out of date."

"The manager in the office , her name was stephanie, she lied and said that I damaged towel and that I stole towels, and I told her I gave it to the maintenance lady and she said she don't have proof when I told her to them. And she charged me $75 out of my $100 deposit and I don't find that right. Someone needs to get on"

"The room was clean. We asked for cleaning service every other day. No one came. Had to ask for clean towels. The shower rod was loose so the curtain kept slipping causing water to get on the floor. The screws were coming up on the trim between the floor and the carpet so we had to put a towel to cover them so we didn't trip or stub a toe on them. The pool didn't look very clean. Wasn't filthy though. The room was small, but since we were using it just to sleep, it was okay."

"The rooms and the facility are clean. The elevator is too slow. The breakfast is not as good as it was before."

"Room was clean and updated, checkin and check out was easy, staff was nice, breakfast area was small but was ok. Restaurants and stores are close by. Water Conservation Garden and Heritage of the Americas Museum were close by. Online the property looks nicer but overall our stay was pleasant."

"Chose the Hampton Inn Poway as an extra night on my birthday trip knowing that this isn't a fancy resort by any means but Hampton Inn always comes with great stays and calm environments. The stay started out ok with the gentleman at the front being very helpful and even offering an "upgrade". We got to the room to notice a musty smell from the AC being off. "Breakfast was advertised but there was just coffee. Staff claimed there were muffins but I never saw any muffins. I think to save money, they don’t supply the rooms with anything. No dishes, silverware, shampoo etc. you have to ask. They apologized for not having a full suite of dishes to provide, I guess they don’t want to drive the 400 yards to Walmart to keep there supplies stocked. Staff is never at front desk. They put sign out indicating they are helping some other guest but they...
