"Location was great—beautifully landscaped. Employees were very helpful and personable. Our rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I would have appreciated a small microwave in the room. Meals were very good but very expensive. Alcoholic drinks and wines were delicious this year. Great bartending."

"We liked the location, right off a main highway with a wonderful seafood restaurant that we were able to walk to. The lady at the desk told us exactly where to park, convenient to our room location. Breakfast was diverse and food was fresh and tasty. The room was spacious with a couch included. The bathroom was small with limited counter space. Overall, we were happy."

"Traffic very loud. Couldn’t plug in coffee pot. Creamer packets were hard as a rock. Garbage smell outside. No continental breakfast though were told beforehand that if enough guest there they’d put it out. Guests were there but no offer. I was charged a few dollars more when arrived than Expedia said on confirmation. Stay elsewhere"

"Pool definitely doesn't work and hasn't in 18 months according to the front desk attendant. They certainly didn't make you feel like it was an issue and not concerned it wasn't being advertised as unusable. Could be very good. Unfortunately our bathroom smelled horrible and you could not turn the fan on because of the smell. The room itself was very clean, sheets nice and bed made up well. AC worked good too. Probably would only stay again if there wasn't another choice, sadly....they...

"Overall, I had a good stay at Microtel Inn & Suites. The room was really clean, affordable, and the location was very convenient—it’s literally only about 1 mile from the casino. The only downside was the bed. The mattress was very old, hard, and uncomfortable, and unfortunately I woke up with lower back pain. "The A/C unit in our room was broken, and the room was freezing cold with no way to turn it off. Unfortunately, the hotel was sold out, so we were unable to switch rooms. We were told we would receive a refund for our stay, but so far, nothing has been done regarding the refund. Very disappointing experience."

"We love this inn and stay here 3-4 times each year. Love the wine and cheese in the afternoon, the fresh cookies in the lobby and the boat ride up the Niantic River. The rooms are comfortable, even if some are small. The breakfast (food and service) is excellent. The porch and chairs on the lawn are wonderful places to watch the water."

"We were surprised by an upgraded room when we arrived (we hadn’t even asked for it). It was a king suite with a big whirlpool tub. I was expecting it to be in the room with the bed (which gives me the ick) but surprisingly it was a second huge room with big whirlpool tub and TV. Fun! The bed and pillows were comfortable. All areas of the rooms and bathroom were perfectly clean. Didn’t use the outdoor pool. Close enough to Mystic and the New London Ferry to Block Island, which was the reason...
