"This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. "This was a Wonderful place to stay. Just 6 miles from Harrogate and the conference centre. The bedroom with shower and toilet TV and WiFi fine. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area so I could have cooked anything I had brought. Really good value. "

"We had a very relaxing stay which is just what we needed… We had a meal the first night which was lovely….we did find the drinks at the bar a little on the expensive side compared to other places we had called into in Grassington "

"The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! "

"We've stayed before, the hotel overall is extremely good and staff in all areas and departments are polite and very helpful. The hotel is quite busy remains quiet and relaxing. If there is a downside, the bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. We always have an exec room. They have been modernised and upgraded, with the exception of carpets. But the bathrooms have not. Our extractor fan didn't work at all. "

"Very clean and comfortable room. Great bed, quiet area. Excellent breakfast. Short walk into town. I liked the option of not having the room serviced and receiving a free drink! The lift was a bit dodgy - very slow. Enjoyed my stay."

"Room was wonderful, window with fresh air was so appreciated as we were both recovering from being sick while traveling. Monica welcomed us with an efficient and informative check-in and shared parking details and recommended we visit the Turkish Baths, so we did! Great location about a 10 minute walk from most things. All in all, a lovely visit, and wishing Monica and co-owner all good things. If we pass through Harrogate again, there is only one place we will stay!"

"Wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to an Executive room for free! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Had no problems with noise at all. We went and had a meal one night at the Orchid restaurant below, amazing tasty food. Would recommend to others to stay here."

"Perfect for a single room, single night stopover. Great central location, lots of great bar, cafe and restaurant options - as well as being right across from the conventions venue. The room and bathroom were small but perfect for my needs. Immaculately clean, very quiet, with everything I needed. And the bed was blissfully comfortable! Friendly greeting by staff on arrival too. Would definitely stay here again. "
