"We stayed in a double room with a city view for one night. The room was compact but very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the hot, made-to-order breakfast. Compared to other pricey hotels and bed-and-breakfast options in the old town, Nine Vines, just a few minutes’ drive away, offers excellent value for the price. As for suggestions, it would be helpful to add towel hangers in the washroom and to improve the quality of the pillows."

"My wife and I got lucky with finding this hotel. We based our decision on pictures and reviews and were very pleased w/ the results. This hotel is within a block or two of the shops and restaurants on or near Queen St, very convenient and sits on the edge of Niagara on the Lake Public golf course, very peaceful setting. "We like the historic nature of this hotel but feel that it needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast in the dining room once. The food was fine, but the floor was dirty under tables and under the sideboard. It had been swept by the evening meal which was very good.
