"Clean room, comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located near the Vancouver mall with lots of dining options. We appreciated the in-room toaster and microwave. Overall, a great stay."

"The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful. If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality."

"This building is VERY rundown and looks nothing like the pictures posted online. Peeling wallpaper, wires hanging from the ceiling, stains on furniture, hair embedded in the sheets, etc."

"For a cheap hotel, it wasn’t bad. Better than most motel 6s. It is nicely located next to a freeway. I felt safe there, the neighborhood is safe. Right in front of a dispensory. The only negative is that the building is old, but overall clean."

"Customer service was good, place was good for our budget, room was horrible, some disgusting not sure if it was food (dried underneath the bed) I sprayed the whole room with antibacterial spray and my husband had to fix the light in the bathroom it was hanging down because we didn’t want anyone else to come in the room it was already bad and we just need a place to lay down."

"Property looked good on the outside but as soon as you step foot inside it’s a different story. The place is rundown although they almost do a good job of hiding it. Our hotel room door was broke and wouldn’t latch unless you pushed extra hard on it. It had a huge gap at the top between the door and the door frame. "Don't smoke around the property"

"My room was clean; however it was old and run down, moisture ants appeared in my bathroom so I needed to switch rooms. In my first room, the TV did not work, the carpet was horribly stained, the tub needed to be replaced, the lampshade was stained, the mattress was lumpy, the furniture was all chipped, and the furnace and road noises were loud. This room also wreaked of old cigarette smoke, and the in room phone did not work, so you could not ring the office. I was also greeted with the stench...

"We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke.
