"It was not clear that the property was a focused on a resort. I did not appreciate the very strong upsell and push to attend information sessions about the property. The entire reason to book a property through expedia is for a no fuss process. I want to check in, get to my room and go about my business.
Also- It's UNACCEPTABLE in 2026 that a hotel charge for basic WiFi access. Period. Roll it into the price. DON'T request creation of an account and charge separately.
