"The place was clean and not too run down, but I had to request a coffee machine, which they gave me only when I asked because they have a problem with them disappearing. They were very nice about it, however. They were a bit stingy with amenities in the room. One bar of soap and one mini conditioning shampoo only. Although there was a shower bath there was no drain plug, And the tub would fill with water when you took a shower and was draining very slowly!"

"We have stayed here many times in the past but it has really gone downhill. The building has not been maintained at all, Carey’s in the hallways are dingy and dirty. The air conditioning in the main reception area is terrible, it was so hot and humid in there I felt sorry for the staff who are there all day. Whomever now owns this place needs to put some money into it, it’s too bad because it’s a beautiful building and show the true NM architecture. We will not stay there again, unless it gets...

"Really nice room and staff. Water was much hotter than the last few hotels I've stayed at. Amenities were really impressive - full size fridge, some kind of hot plate/stovetop setup, microwave, even a paper towel roll. Will be my new go-to when I'm in Cruces. (Breakfast is on the weak side)"

"Our room had a strong odor that it was used as a smoking room. The non stick strips in the shower were peeling badly and there were numerous holes in the shower wall where something had previously been attached."
