"We recently stayed at the Langham during our first visit to Chicago. If I could rate them 10 stars, I absolutely would. The hotel is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and ideally situated. "VERY small and old rooms. Towels smelled awful. Dingy carpets. Zero functioning amenities. Staff was very unhelpful. Called the front desk at 11 pm to ask for help with the streaming service and was told, "It's late. Call back in the morning." The only redeeming quality was the location. I wouldn't have such a negative impression of the hotel if it was rated two stars but it was rated as "exceptional" and that is 100% inaccurate. Holiday Inn Express vibes at best."

"I would definitely stay here again and I recommended the stay to friends and family. Great location and friendly staff from the bell hop to the consierge. My room was ready and I was able to check in at 2:00 p.m. The room was spacious and I appreciated the automatic dimmable lighting in the bathroom."

"As of June 2026, daily drilling at the bottom of the west building. Walls are paper thin. Had some small children screaming and banging around all the time. Breakfast is quite good, but $30. Daily amenity charges are a joke and a terrible trend."

"The Hotel location was great to attend the Morgan Wallen concert at Soilder field. Parking in Chicago is always a problem -Arlo parking was a block and half away, pack lite because you must carry your luggage from the parking garage."

"Hands down the best hotel I've stayed at. They were so nice, accommodating the room was amazing, fridge and freezer, had dishes and silverware, and a mini cooktop and dishwasher. "Room had a bad Oder as soon as we walked in you could have smelled it. We found a cockroach and we were moved immediately to a different room which was not what I paid for. Overall we only stayed since my daughter went to summer smash it was the closest. The breakfast was good and our view in our first room was nice but they down graded us."
